Nokia Announces 5228, Another Cheap Smartphone From Nokia

Nokia unveiled another low ranged smart phone named 5228. The Nokia 5228 is similar to the Nokia 5230, but the difference between them is the lack of GPS and 3G in 5228. Nokia is the king of low ranged mobile market and the 5228 will strengthen its rule.

The Nokia 5228 has almost the same hardware as in 5230. The 5228 sports the Symbian S60 version 5 OS and also has EDGE support. It has a of 3.2″ resistive touchscreen with nHD (640 x 360) resolution. The camera is of 2MP resolution with no flash. The 5228 record nHD videos at 30fps. A 3.5mm jack is also present. The Bluetooth version is 2.0 with A2DP support. The internal memory is of 70MB and the microSD slot is expandable up to 16GB.

The battery power in 5228 is of 1320mAh. The 5228 will be available in black and white colors. The back of the phone will have red, pink, blue, yellow or silver shades. The price is expected to be around EURO 139 or less and it will release in July.
